Thanks for posting this, and for all the great links out to specific examples-I’m clueless when it comes to fashion, and by the end of the article I felt like I could comfortably name-drop a designer or two in casual conversation.
It’s interesting that cross body bags are making a splash. Living in Richmond, the majority of people that I see carrying these bags are bicyclists. Chrome and Timbuk2 bags are definitely more for utility than fashion, but it’s great that there’s even an overlap. Now if I could just find a pair of shoes that I could wear in the office, and wading through construction sites when I’m out on assignment. The only dress shoes I own were black on Monday—now they match my pollen-coated brown Honda Civic.
